Welcome

Hi, I'm Ji-Young Kim, a bioinformatics researcher.
I am a Master’s student in Agricultural Convergence Technology at Jeonbuk National University. My research focuses on insect viromes, host–virus coevolution, and horizontal gene transfer using high-throughput sequencing and bioinformatics tools.
I analyze how viruses affect insect microbiomes and how symbiotic relationships evolve. My work aims to reveal novel viral diversity and its impact on host biology.
